The Tier 2 Sports Person category is for top sports people and coaches who are internationally established at the highest level. This is for those coming to the UK on a long term basis. Sports people intending to enter the UK to compete in events, play for a team or club etc, would not use this category.
To apply you would need to show:
- You have been endorsed by the UK governing body for the sport in question
- You meet the Maintenance requirement
- You meet the English Language requirement
First time applicants will be granted for a visa for three years which can be extended.
